Thailand: Chang Mai

We have had a great time in Chang Mai, Northern Thailand. Coralee and I were able to visit her teachers from New Guiena, the Jarots. They were great and really made us feel at home here.
They had us over for dinner and we even got to go to church with them. We also went out to dinner a couple of times. We had so much fun.

They work at an amazing school called Grace International School. It's Elementary-High School and reminds me alot of South Hills Academy. Basically it's a really amazing top notch school. It was only founded 6 years ago and is one of the best schools in South East Asia today. The facility is huge and the facility are amazing. Their students go on to do amazing things. For example they have students who have gone on to: Air Force Academy, BIOLA, Yale, Wheaton, Anapolis Naval Academy. One of their former students is training to be a fighter pilot, she's at the Air Force Academy now. But besides all the great academics, they really want the kids to know Christ and to walk with with him after they leave. It really makes me miss SHA. Anyway if any of you are interested in serving the Lord by teaching over seas, check out their web sight: www.gisthailand.org

Yesterday we went on a real adventure. We went Elephant Riding, saw a Butterfly & Orkid farm, hiked to a waterfall, went to a hill tribe village, went white water rafging and even went Thai Bamboo Rafting. It's really been fun up here.

Coralee is really excited too because we will be in New Guiena in less then two weeks. She can't wait to be with her sisters back in her home country!
