Coralee Goes to PNG & Thanksgiving

Well Coralee went to Papua New Guinea (PNG) to help her sister get situated. Coralee's sister Michelle & Lyle recently adopted a child and returned to Michigan during the process. Since Lyle had to go back early due to important meetings with the PNG Government the mission requested that a family member help Michelle get home to PNG with the three kids. Coralee was asked to go and left just a few days after we moved into our new home...

So I, Jason, went down and spent Thanksgiving with my parents and sister in Alabama!

Suituated & Somewhat Unpacked

We were able to get most of our stuff situated in a few days. But we have a lot of boxes in the garage now...

We're Moved In!

After exactly one month of remodeling we moved into our new house on Saturday, Nov. 17! I picked up a 24 ft Penske Truck at 8 am. And with the help of our family and friends from church we had everything packed up by noon. Craig, Yvonne (Coralee's sister) & the kids helped as well as Shawn & his son & nephew (friends from our new church!). We had everything unloaded by 2 pm and I had the truck back to Penske by 3pm! Then we realized that we were now the proud owners of a house filled with boxes...

Home Remodeling

Well we bought a fixer upper. We ripped out all the old flooring, the flower wallpaper, the old damaged cabinets & the water damaged vanities. I learned how to install Kitchen Cabinets with my brother in law Lyle. I learned how to tile with alot of help from my friends from our new church. And I learned alot of other stuff between sinks and toilets... It's been a lot of work and we're both beat up!
