Summer 2008 Update

Dear Friends and Family,
Things are going well out here in Tennessee. We are really feeling settled in as the one year mark has passed and are getting more and more connected to new friends out here.
Because gas is close to $4 a gallon Jason decided to get a Motorcycle. He bought a '92 650 Suzuki Savage for $800. It gets 50 mpg!

We are both going to school full time this summer. Jason is working on a Master's Degree in Teaching in ESL at Carson Newman. It's kind of like the Tennessee equivalent of APU. It is almost 50 miles away from our house though so it is quite a commute.

Coralee is going to Roane State community college working toward a Business Degree. Her plan is to transfer to Liberty University and finish either an Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Business through online-classes.

We went on a trip to Virginia Beach, VA & Willimsburg with Jason's parents. It was amazing seeing so much historical stuff!

We also took a trip to Greensville, SC to visit Coralee's life long friend, Grace & her husband Stephen. We had a great time visiting, hiking & playing Halo!

We painted the doors & shutters of our house.

We painted the garage, built some tool racks & organized it!

And Coralee has been hard at work on her garden!

We hope that you are all doing well and we think about everyone and pray for you often. We love and Miss you all.
Jason & Coralee
