A Long Over Due Update

Well, in the wake of our exciting months of chaos from traveling to moving to buying a house to renovation and Coralee going to PNG a second time, we feel like our lives are becoming somewhat boring. We are forgetting that boring means stable which is a good thing. So here is a short update on our now boring lives. :o)

We were incredibly blessed to find a great Church out here called Two Rivers Church. God has connected us up with so many people already that we are amazed. We were so blessed to be apart of a small group last fall where we were able to meet several couples who are also passionate about missions and their walks with the Lord. It was so encouraging to find such a wonderful body of believers for us to fellowship with here in TN.

This Winter/Spring God has opened new doors for us that we are equally excited about. We have started to get involved in helping in the High School Group and as a result were able to join a new small group where we are getting to know the Youth Pastors and another couple who also helps with the youth. We have already committed to help with the High School Missions Trip to New York this Summer. We are excited to get to know that students better and on a deeper level.

In addition we have also started to build relationships with those involved in missions as well as the Outreach Pastor and we are excited to see the ways that God would have us get involved as we learn about the many options before us. (We will keep you all posted on that.) We are also learning more about the mission organization affiliated with our denomination (Evangelical Free Church of America). We were very excited to learn that they are involved in the Turkic World and we are in the beginning stages of learning more of what that encompasses. We would also appreciate your prayers as we seek to learn about this, as to whether this is something the Lord would have us get involved in, in the future.

Jason, is currently working as an ESL teacher and working to complete his masters in education which he will complete in the Summer of 09 and Coralee is happy to be working at Kohls for the moment. We know that God has placed us right where we are suppose to be and that is such an encouragement to us.
